Bill Nack

William Nack is the business manager/executive office of the Building and Construction Trades Council of San Mateo County, AFL-CIO. He has served in this capacity since March 1, 1999, and has primary responsibility for implementation of all actions and positions taken by the Council. The Building Trades Council is comprised of 25 local construction unions with a total membership of 16,000 union construction craft men and women. The Building Trades Council's primary mission is to monitor and advocate for environmentally and socially responsible projects using the highest quality materials and construction methods.

Bill currently participates as a member with the San Mateo County United Way Local Committee, San Mateo County Community College District Bond Oversight Committee, San Mateo County Housing Endowment and Regional Trust Board of Directors, San Mateo County Peninsula Policy Partnership Board of Directors, San Mateo County Housing Leadership Council Board of Directors, San Francisco Bay Area Metropolitan Transportation Commission Advisory Council, San Mateo County Exposition & Fair Association Board of Directors and is Vice-President of the San Mateo County Labor Council, AFL-CIO.

A 40-year resident of San Mateo County, Bill is married and is the father of two

school-age children.
